My Brother's Keeper Denver Summit 2024: Shaping Futures, Breaking Barriers

My Brother's Keeper Denver Summit, a groundbreaking event taking place on March 15 2024, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Davita World Headquarters Tower 2 (2001 16th St Mall, Denver, CO 80202).  This summit holds special significance as we come together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of President Obama's My Brother's Keeper initiative, honor local community leaders, and start to work on Denver’s local action plan to support young men of color from cradle to college to career.

Celebrating a Decade of Impact

On the first day, we will honor a decade of empowering young men of color, marking the official certification of MBK Denver by the Obama Foundation. Join us in recognizing past MBK25 awardees who have exemplified extraordinary commitment to this cause. Moreover, be the first to witness the announcement of the new MBK25 awardees for 2024. Together, we will celebrate the progress, the impact, and the individuals driving change in our community.

Special guest speakers include leadership from the Obama Foundation/MBK Alliance and the esteemed former Mayor Michael Hancock, who will share insights into the impactful phone call with President Obama that launched MBK Denver.

Moreover, the MBK25 awards ceremony will feature a keynote address by Denver's own Dr. Ryan Ross, President & and CEO of the Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado.

Finally, will include the Sims-Fayola Foundation’s Mentoring Excellence Award 2024 being presented to Mr. Jack Hamlin.
