About the event
The 5th Annual Mardi Gras Gala is the Sims-Fayola Foundation’s signature celebration, bringing together community leaders, partners, and supporters for an evening rooted in joy, culture, and purpose.
Held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Curtis Ballroom at Landmark, this milestone event honors five years of collective impact while looking ahead to the future of the students and communities we serve. The evening features New Orleans–inspired cuisine, music curated by DJ Simone, festive décor, beads, and a traditional second line to close out the night.
More than a celebration, the gala directly supports the Sims-Fayola Foundation Scholarship Fund, helping students access higher education and long-term opportunity. Every dollar raised for scholarships will be matched by the Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative, doubling the impact of each gift.
